Member Since: March 2005 Posts: 337 Send Message	Hi, Myself and another member think that our families are linked but not sure. They come from the same area. Try as I may, I cannot get any further back than John Mountain c1817 born New Leake, Lincs. We have him married to Elizabeth Hubbert. Mt gr gr grandad has 'Holland' as his middle name and as it is unusual we think it is taken from someones surname, ie grandmothers maiden name etc. I have found his birth which shows his parents as John Mountain and Eliz (no surname) I have found a marriage of a john Mounton and an Elizabeth Holland in Stamford, Lincs in 1788, but this is not near to where the family come from and the spelling is slightly different. I have no details of siblings for John 1817 and cannot get any further back to check out details. The other member who I am trying to find a link with also has a Mary Holland marrying a Mountain, but this is back in 1715. Any help would be great. Cheryl
