	Maybe Daniel in 1841 1841 St Johns Square St James Clerkenwell Middlesex District 11 > 8 Letitia Johnson 1789 not born in County Daniel Johnson 1822 he was born in county. I cant read the occupation of letitia or Daniel. Maryb Maybe not as i have found this. Daniel henry Johnson baptised Finsbury 18/1/1824 by Daniel a Porter and Sititia Johnson but it looks like Lititia on original view.

When did he and his family sail to South Australia and on what ship? Is there any passenger lists recorded of departures from England to South Australia, for free settlers? I assume Daniel paid for his own way. If you could help that would be great. Thank you very much. Jo-Anne

Member Since: February 2010 Posts: 8 Send Message	Jane, This probably information that I submitted into Ancestry.com.au into my family tree, which I have been able to suss out from the Sth Australian Geneology & Heraldry Society for Daniel Ruston Renatus Johnson which is also apparently on his Sth Australian death certificate. I wasn't sure if Daniel Ruston Renatus was my gr grandfather's father as I haven't been able to trace down the ship that they arrived in Sth Australia on. We assume they paid their own way to Sth Australia as they don't tend to be on the government assisted passenger lists. I still am not able to find any passenger lists, arriving in Sth Australia for 1852. Jo-Anne

	According to a tree on Ancestry.co Daniel arrived in Adelaide just prior to his death but died from Inflamation of the bowel.A cause of death for many passenger carrying vessels. Date of arrival 7th june 1852

They had 3 children, Grace, Daniel R E & Mark William Johnson. I am trying to find the names of Eliza's parents, what year she came to Sth Australia with her husband and 3 children and on what sailing ship. Thank you for any help given.
