Theres an interesting page
a chinaman pushing a wheelbarrow , ran away there was a shell making a hissing noise and PW alerted the men , only 2 were killed in the explosion, hence his bravery medal .?

Hi jan
It looks like he had three different regimental No's, this one says enlisted at 17, one must have been 20 and in Sherwood foresters in 1921. All this is news to me

He must have reenlisted as he didn't get retired as unfit until 1922

With so much stuff I would consider taking out a free 2-week trial just for this. Just remember to cancel in good time.
