I've found on BDM the birth of June Austin in 1934 - mother's maiden name Oliver
Place of birth - Steyning, Sussex

The marriage between Norah Makepeace and Stanley Austin is also relevant - it IS the same Stanley Austin!

Can't seem to see a marriage for the child born in Steyning under Austin or Fellows in that area.

How could you know the year and quarter of the marriage and not know the registration district??


There is an Austin-Oliver birth the next quarter in Steyning, and no other Austin-Oliver marriage in the neighbourhood, and there are no Austin-Attwell births, so it doesn't look like Florrie A Oliver was Ada Attwell by birth and remarried.

Nope, she was Florrie Agnes, 1903, Battle. He was 1907, Wandsworth.

Seeking information about ADA ATTWELL who married Stanley Alfred Austin in the fist quarter of 1932, possibly in the South East of England, most likely Sussex or Surrey.
