Trying to find the surname and any other details about Carry. She appears on 1901 census as wife of William Carr. She is aged 36 and born in Surrey Lambeth. Originally thought she was Caroline Harrison who also married a William Carr but she turned out to be the wrong person. Can't find any other mariage that fits the bill and have hit a brick wall. Can anyone shed any light on this or point me in the right direction please. |

Gwynn - are there any children on that census? If so, sending for the birth certificate should give you her maiden name. |

Thanks Anne-Marie I should have thought of that. There are several children but I'm not sure when mothers maiden name started to be included on the details of the birth cert. |
