At long last Jax - I think we've got it - looks as if he married twice! There is a death in 1868 which would fit Eliza.

Kath I am not sure of anything any more. Is Isleworth come under Middlesex? If so Wm b Middlesex is b there 1836 s/o Wm and Hannah.

In 1861 Wm aged 23 b Middlesex states Hannah is his mother.

I have a choice of two Elizas marrying a Wm Buckmaster both in March 1858 reg Greenwich - one is Eliza Breakspear and the other Eliza Cornish. Cannot pick either up in freebmd or familysearch.

All I want is to link my Eliza Jemima Buckmaster who married into my tree the correct parents!

If you have any further thoughts I would be grateful my thoughts are becoming fuzz!

Choccy that brings up the William son of Hannah so that is definite in that.

You clever girl Choccy finding the marriage. That appears to be it.

I have my Jessie's parents - now have to see if they match with the other GR members tree and keep her happy!

A birth for William in Isleworth would come under the Brentford registration district which is in Middlesex.

However in your first post you say born Hayes, Middlesex which is in Uxbridge registration district.

Kath one Wm b Hayes, Middlesex other Wm b Isleworth Middlesex both around the same date hence the confusion. Didnt hlep my Jessie used her 3rd name and then we had Buckmaster with a hyphen!

I do appreciate all the help I have.

Choccy that matches on marriage cert Jessie states father Wm is dead and that is 1885.

They are all good at changing names arne't they?
