There's a tree on Ancestry that has Charles Ernest Staples born 1892, Islington, son of Charles E. Staples & Rose J. Butt. No marriage or death info though. |

yes thats the right family and also just realised the other Charles that Meg had "Charles Edward" son of Henry Staples (french poliosher) was probably the cousin of my Charles as my great grandfather Charles senior had a brother called Henry who was a french polisher |
