If Alwyne did come home to England and stay here I cant seem to find any death or marriage records for him here.

Rebecca

Rebecca Report 28 Aug 2010 14:16

Are there any records for Barnados children anywhere please?

Andrew

Andrew Report 28 Aug 2010 14:15

The canadian link may be a red herring, but dates and (initials) names fit. He did survive WW1, went home in 1919

Thank you andrew, I suppose this would make sense losing his father so young. Perhaps his eldest brother went too, Edwin John born 1892. Thank you for all your help everyone.
