There is a Robert Besant arrived in New York in 1907, from Congleton Cheshire.....

I think I've found my 'missing link'!

It appears that my ancestor sailed to New York and/or Canada, as I can see part of these records on Ancestry.

But I don't have a worldwide subscription and I would be SO VERY GRATEFUL if sks out there could let me know all the details for all the entries show for him.

I can see various entries for him under the following names: -Robt. E. W. Besant, Robert W. Besant, and also Mr. R.E.W. Besant. His full name is Robert E. W. Besant, dob 1869, Cheshire if that all helps.

I may need to get some shuteye before sks responds to this, but I will be back on here tomorrow. Please don't think me rude if I don't respond immediately!
