How very fortunate to have an address that you can definitely tie him in with. |

You're very welcome. I hope he didn't have a girl in every port. Can you imagine the nightmare of looking for any children born when he was on his travels! |

He was 5'9", 14 stone and had a Japanese lady on his right arm, eagle, snake and butterfly on his left arm. The last one has him at 16 1/2 stone. |

Gosh ***alviegal*** - how clever you are!! Maybe thats why I couldn't find him anywhere - It certainly fits as he was born in Birmingham area. |

If this is Hubert before he married, perhaps he was away when the census was taken. He was a 2nd officer from Birmingham. |

Yes, Thanks - that is my Jeannie Wilde- staying with her mother and father. No sign of her husband Hubert though. Wonder where he was? |

Well done! Don't know where Hubert is though. Alexander Wilds should actually be Alexander Carter. |

Hubert John Wilde was born in 1882 in Edgbaston, Warwickshire but was possibly living in London - maybe West Ham/Forest Gate. |
