Hi
If you order his birth cert it will give you the names of both his parents. You will then be able to search for their marriage.

I find the best way is to ask relatives firstly, and then work back however

There are a few children born in Salford with tne surname Hough and mother's maiden name Smart between 1920 and 1935, they might not be connected but it's a possibility.

going on that there is a marriage in Salford 1919 which is a possibility for the parents, again not a certainty but once you get Francis's birth cert you can proove/ disproove

her spouse's details will not show but I think thats because of an error on the entry for this one!

Marriage about George Hough
Name: George Hough
Spouse Surname: Huart (looking at the original it says Smart)
Date of Registration: Apr-May-Jun 1919
Registration district: Salford
Registration county (inferred): Lancashire
Volume Number: 8d
Page Number: 514 (looking at the original it could be 314, it's a little blurred)

How would i go by finding hes family like parents and siblings etc ?

francis l hough has two daughters , first my mother jaqueline susan mellor (was hough) and also sharon hough.
i found hes death registration ,was also interested in finding other relatives of hes

I am trying to find relatives of francis L hough,
( middle name either lewis or louis )
born i believe in salford in 1935
hes mothers maiden name may have been smart but im not sure exactly
he married a joan mellor in 1960 in manchester
I belive he has a daughter called kimberley but that also may be incorect
It would be great if anyone has any information on francis hough as he is my great grandad and i would like to know more about him
