Yes, That is correct ......it is Jeremiah on the image..... the names have been mistranscribed on the 1891. Did you find John born 1862/3 on the 1881??

The Leminnie that you have is in fact Jerimiah.

So you can see that again it is another name repeated through the Andron generations which is why my heart say's the John in the 1871 family are one of the same.

But My head say's find the document to prove it.

This bloke confuses me. I can't find him on any census other than the 1871. Wonder if he was in the army. Would somebody have a look for him on 1911 census, please?

If the info is correct, 66 at death means born 1861/62.

I don't think so, I believe the 1891 Census gives him as born in St Giles, Strand, London.

Sorry for confusion, The Andron family to this day always refer to John & James being the same person which confuses me most of the time. trying to keep up with all replies even gets me confused as to who is who so let me recap & hopefully I will get them in the right order.

John Andron born c1862/3 Died 14th october 1895.
This John had a son James born 1882

John is the one that is causing me all of the grief & it is his birth record that I am unable to find.

Hope I have you on the right track as my head is in a spin at present.

You said James died in 1895.. But that BMD says JOHN .. In the Census, you found listed as JOHN when you said you're looking for JAMES..?!

Many thanks for that & it now confirms that the Bridget & Mary that I found on the 1881 Census do belong to the Androns of 1871.

Unfortunately I am still unable to connect my James with the same family.

Chiswick was part of Brentford indeed.

Yes I had come across these before but the Bridget & Mary Handrahan that I found was on the 1881 census which found them living at 13 garrick Grove, London which I think was a Hospital / workhouse. It also said that they were born on Chiswick.

Not knowing my London Geography i'm not sure if Chiswick would be a part of Brentford.

I do admit that it definately looks promising with all of the names but where are the other children, Michael & James unless they weren't registered

This has always been at the back of my mind but the forever optimist in me says no ?? (fingers well crossed).

My main hope was that he lied about his age on his marriage certificate & the lie continued to his death.
If he had lied then the Andron family in the 1871 Census could well be his family.

Also the names of all of the 1871 family seem to have repeated throughout the Andron family that I have so far.
