Can anybody please help find a marriage Rossiter to Harris

Alice O'Sullivan born 1862 Cork, Ireland married George John Rossiter 7 Dec 1881 Queensland, Australia. They had 2 children - George born 1882 & Charles 1883 Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. George John Rossiter died 1884 age 22.

Alice remarried to a Harris and both children changed their name to Harris. She died 1937 Camperdown, New South Wales.
Is it possible to find the marriege

Thank you so much - you are stars. I waited up hoping for an answer but fell asleep on the chair around 4am UK time. The urgency is because my elderly cousin and his disabled wife Dorothy arrived in UK for a tour while she has chance. She brought me an old typed sheet of her family tree to see if I can help find her mothers family. Found loads but the Harris bit and her fathers family is a mess.

Don't know what the rules are in AUS but when she married Harris she was 44.
If she had children before they married would they be reregistered with their fathers name?

The DOD for George Joseph Harris 1952 fits the date on the paper
However when did George & Charles change their name as they are not on the list.

Now the next level
George married Emily Jane Bernard in 10 Mar1906 (1882-1938) at Peak Hill NSW.
Children Reginald, Leila, Ernest, Bruce, Edna Alice Harris born 1915 (Dorothy's mum), Elvie, Arnold, Roy, Lorna, Hilda & Bertie. That is all the info she has

I know it is a stress but can you please please continue with the marriages.

I've just found the birth of of Bruce from another tree but they have no other records. Must be a disfuctional family

Without Full names, places & dates the marriages are hard as there is 3-4 pages of registrations for each name.

I have managed to find many of the records with all your marvelous help. But I'm stuck again.

Charles Henry Rossiter born 18 Sep1883 who changed his name to Charles H Harris is supposed to have married Martha Emily Mace in 1906 Parkes, Hillston, New South Wales, Australia.

They had 3 children, I found 1son AUS reF: 6784/1907 HARRIS CHARLES T CHARLES H MARTHA PEAK HILL which confirms the mother as Martha

I can't find the marriage of Charles to any Martha. The site keeps saying no record

Please help trace. But please advise what I may be doing wrong in my search

These names on this tatty bits of paper are hard to read.

Thanks for the tip on th site. i tried it as you said and it works fine. Been using it to cross check names to see if they are correct.

Now the main AUS family history site. It is hard to understnd it. I tried to find the WW11 records but got stuck. Have so many family in AUS from all branches it would be very interesting if i could get my head round it.

I was gong to see if i could find more out about the Harris children who I'm still stuck with finding them.
