Thank you Tooty Fruity; this is interesting! This must be Henry's birth which would suggest the death in Camden in August 1987!

Births Jun 1894 (>99%)
Lever Henry Runcorn 8a 221 Scan available - click to view

The only trouble here is, I have Henry's baptism from the IGI Pilot Sight and they state that Henry was baptised on the 03rd June 1894!

I have no idea also what Henry would be doing in Camden?!

Thank you for this!

And another probable death for Henry but a long way from Runcorn. Maybe it is a case of waiting until the last column of 1911 census reveals anything about his mild mental illness which could be depression.

Thank you for this; I'll have to look and see if I can order the marriage certificate to confirm about this.

Your help is very much appreciatedd; I had looked for George previously but I too was a little lost as to where to look for him exactly. I since found out that it seems Halton is the 'modern-alternative' name used for the Runcorn District, which came into use after boundary changes etc.

Thank you so much again!

I just wonder where Henry went!

Sorry for the very late reply!

Now, Henry lived with his married sister as he suffered from a mild mental health problem, and as she died in Runcorn, I assume he would of done also.

George; I have no idea where he died, or that he even existed until I recently found the 1911 census.

I suppose both must of moved, or perhaps I even emmigrated?

Do you know if they stayed in Runcorn as I am having difficulty locating a death in Runcorn for both Henry and George

Peter Report 24 Jul 2010 20:28

Hi there,

Thank you; you have found the family 1901, and I have quite a bit of info on the other siblings shown, but for some reason Henry and George are proving quite elusive! There are always a few relations to keep us on our toes!

You have also found Henry Lever's death in 1956 (the father) - however, the 1942 marriage to Emma Brown, also relates to him, and not 'Young Henry'. Henry was a widow, his wife Mary Alice dying earlier.

From what I was told, Young Henry had some sort of mental health problem but was cared for at home by his older sister Harriet.

Therefore I assumed his death would be fairly easy to find.

Peter Report 24 Jul 2010 20:01

Hello there,

Could someone please look-up for me the deaths of two of my relations:

1) Henry Lever, born in Runcorn, Cheshire in about 1894 (son of Henry and Mary Alice Lever). Henry was remembered as being alive in the early 1950s by a relation of mine who visited him at his home.

and his brother:

2) George Lever, born 8 December 1903 in Runcorn , Cheshire. George`s birth date is taken from his admission papers for the Balfour Road School, Runcorn, Cheshire. An `event date` is recorded for 24 August 1904 and an address is given as: 7 Lightfoot Square, Cheshire. This school record is taken from the Morom Pilot Record site.

Thank you in advance.
