update, george left his family in jan. 1926 there was another woman but she later returned to her husband. it was thought at the time he went to canada,some one named george booth was contacted in canada by the salvation army but he said it was not him, so it was not persued. |

hi, sue nearly all details correct there was no sister called leah that was his wife will check. the st. address .george and amelia was 355 angelina st aston birmingham. kate bromley and edie morris mean nothing to me. i will investigate.angelina st is still there though only half the size and the houses are all post ww2. |

george booth 1892 may have worked in a brass foundry at some point, as there were many in birmingham then,but he was a coal merchant with his own horse and cart, and he did very well. |
