Hi Vanessa,
Only still found contact with Williams sister Irenes daughter,Irene moved to Wales after she married and her daughter Margaret who I am in contact with was born and brought up there,I have Williams siblings on my tree now and wrote to tree matches last month ,I was going to registry office today but I was late getting into town and registry office was closed so going earlier tomorrow,I will let you know how I get on. I am going to go for the William born 1923 as the age fits in with censor.

Hi Sandra , vanessa here . Have just seen your update. I was actually going through my threads deleting some of them and noticed you had posted today.

shame you haven't heard from any of those you contacted about their trees. have you been able to move the story on at all ? Any more pieces of the jigsaw ?

Let's hope the death cert is for the correct Tabberer and it gives you some info on informant etc.

Waited a couple of weeks now and I have not had any replies from other trees except for margarets tree so I am going to try and get a death certificate tomorrow when I go to town,hope I find out who registered the cert ,let you know how I get on.regards sandra

Hi Sandra just a reminder that there are 3 William Tabberer deaths in west midlands after 1984. One of those is for a 1923 birth. Might be the right one and the cert should give you something- name of informant , last known address.

Hopefully now that I have added other relatives to my tree I may find out where William ended up,I know now the the one niece of his does not know as she said her Mother (williams sister) had been trying to find him,last known address for him was 1955 at his parents house .Let you know how I get on or if I hear from other family members with their trees .best wishes sandra

ps - for general information--I relayed some of the info through pm as we were searching for people, some of whom are obviously still alive and I didn't want to publish any addresses etc.

I would just like to say a big thankyou to you Vanessa for all the info by PM in finding Anthonys father William,I am now in touch with one of williams sisters daughter ,and got Williams parents as well now .So now Tony (anthony) has found some relatives on the Tabberer side of his family.I have now added them to my tree.Thank you to Liz and jan as well. best wishes sndra

Hi Sandra, I think you mentioned in one of our messages yesterday that someone had given you some info on William and his family. Do they not have any idea what became of William ? I did a couple more searches on the electoral roll and I think he went back to live with parents then possibly a sister and husband move in. If you want me to message these to you am happy to do so. This may give you some different names to pursue.

There are 3 William Tabbberer deaths listed after 1984 for Birmingham. If you find the right one you could get his death cert and see who registered it.

Some people don't use this site as regularly as others and even if you have sent messages to people with Tabberers on their tree you may well have to wait for replies. That has been the case several times for me.

I now know that Anthonys father was William Tabberer ,It is now confirmed that this was living in Victoria Road Kings Norton from 1944 til about 1948-49 but nothing after these dates can anyone please try and find out for me what happened to him after these dates.many thanks sandra

You could try a search on this site to see if anyone else is looking for the family, if not, the only certain way would be to send for the birth certificate
