3 Public Family Trees on ancestry.co.uk have John's father as Aaron (or Aron) Gilders (Guilders). 1758-1808

Two of those trees have his mother as Frances Harvey

Father of Aron Gilders is given in one tree as George Guilders. Mother is Mary (surname unknown)

Have you tried this site?????

opc means Online Parich Clerks ... a project attempting to get information from parish registers online. I don't know whether you will find anything, and it may take some searching, but try it and see what is there.

thank you sylvia,
i forgot that lucy was 10 years older than john ,thats why i did nt think it was the same one, hence mentioning her first name. sorry.
in my posting i said that john s parents were said to be Aaron gilders & francis harvey, i have seen this on ancestry ,but it is not sourced.
i think it is likely that william gilders b 1796 is his brother but have no proof , so the reason for my posting.
thank you for your time looking for me........amanda
