I was the last of five and she didnt like any of us

I was only joking Gins, but it could have been true in my mums case thinking about it. She was the 4th child of 7 born just before ww2 broke out and having a sister three and a half years older who looked like Shirley Temple who was spoilt rotten by all accounts

Have been ironing and then playing around on my tree for a change.



Had a look at that comp jax and, like you, not interested in the prize. wouldn't read the book and can't attend the thingey. Mind you, I suppose the tickets could be given to someone else...????? Might put one on just for that.



Dea, I agree with jax - and we've said it before - it would be much easier for you to get someone in to help you out. You'll wear yourself to a greasespot doing all that door cleaning. ;-)

Anyway, I would be far to embarrased to let anyone have a real deep down look at the state of my house !

Why dont you think about getting a cleaning firm in to do a full deep clean and then you might be able to keep on top of things from there?

I have been 'working' today! - I washed down the paintwork on ONE of my internal doors! ;-) :-D

Trouble is - that one is now white while all the other 11 are still a sort of creamy colour !!

It will take me months to get the rest done :-D :-D :-D

I still have some size 10's in 'my' wardrobe Ginns - I really MUST get rid of them !

Thanks Dea, I was really hoping for about 3 or 4 in the first week but I will be back into those clothes hanging there, taunting me

I guess you dont put 2 stones on in a week, so its gonna be a long hard road but one that I will travel

I suppose its harder to lose when you are in your 40s as opposed to 20s

Im upping the hoola hoop and sit ups this week, so fingers crossed for the next weigh in

So size 10 still remains a distant dream then. ;-)

I clean my plants with kitchen roll and olive oil......gives them a gorgeous shine and they seems to thrive

I see Dean Windass (Former football player) has admitted that he tried twice to take his own life.....depression is such a terrible illness

Persie, our dining room table is rectangular with two broad central struts and splayed out wotsits. I gave up crawling underneath - I use a long handled duster thingy instead. Much easier.


Does anyone else dust their broad leaved indoor plants??? :-S

I have neighbours like that - we don't really see much of each other but if any of us had a problem we could knock on any door and they would be there to help! - It is very reassuring!
