Hello

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 22 Jan 2012 23:32

yes ............... and it was still smouldering the last I heard. So they have not yet found the 2 missing workers.

I heard this morning, it could cost at least $100 million to rebuild.

The area will be devastated if that happens ....as there is little else to do around

Wall

Wall Report 22 Jan 2012 23:24

They don't know if it will reopen .... on top of the disaster possibility of unemployment as it is the major industry in area.

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 22 Jan 2012 23:21

it is terrible, and will be devastating to the community as a whole.

........ it is of course very close to where OH's sister lives. The town she lives in is one of the ones where the hospital was put on alert.

We've driven past that mill many times.

Wall

Wall Report 22 Jan 2012 23:16

I may reveal myself by this remark If I do can we keep it under wraps until tomorrow to keep Gin in suspense.

Awful story about Burns Lake .... must be devastating for the community
