I dont shop at Morrisons but have popped in when Im out and about. I think they do the best variety for nibbles and are excellent value....hmmm their cheese rolls from the bakery <3

I just had fun visiting our new local Morrisons. We had one before but it was quite small and I felt awkward trying to get around the shop on my Scooter...so did'nt bother going over there.

They have built this one next door and are going to knock down the old one so the carpark is bigger...They better hurry up as they are parking down our road.

They had loads of nice stuff in there so I shall try and go more often now.

Glad it was'nt just me with the FB problem...strange that the overseas members could see the posts ok

I tried once, then came back after the brilliant tennis match.

Well Joy - It WAS cooked but unfortunately we could not get in to eat it so it went all cold and soggy !!

GR have a lot to answer for!

I, for one, almost faded away through lack of nourishment !!! :-(

Maybe you have run out of yellow ink ;-) Cyns..

The other side notifies people and they can't see posts... I get posts and they don't always notify me... and I just found a message I knew nothing about... that is forever happening... you feel so ill mannered when you haven't replied to something sent ages ago.

I am supposed to be asleep so back to noddy land...

Dea Report 27 Jan 2012 13:03

I missed it all Persie!

I had to take little grandson to the park before I took him to Playgroup and I couldn't get in for breakfast before I went :-( :-(

I took a picnic to the park but he wanted to go into the little cafe and have beens on toast so I had a 'horrible' bacon buttie oozing with some sort of greasy pale yellow spread stuff...........Urggghhhhh !

Just got back and I am going to eat my picnic now! - I am starving :-( :-(

I actually did a bit of research on my own tree first thing when I couldn't get on here and I found a tree on Ancestry which is connected to my family.

GR will have to be careful - if the site keeps going down, we may find we can live without it :-D :-D :-D ;-)

See you all later.

Gins, you could cut out spuds, swedes and parsnips ... and no peas lentils or corn etc... These are starch veg ... he is not allowed barley, pasta or rice either...
So I haven't been eating them either and have lost a bit of weight by default... I probably would lose more if I didn't eat bread.

But I really like my bread and toast.. it is grainy type though.

Apart from the odd couple of rashers of bacon and a bit of salmon or sardines now and then I haven't had meat either..except at people's places.

Jax's facebook problem is weird ... I wonder if she has been twiddling with her
settings or something... I had replied to her message but also put on here as a pm and got one back...

Have just had a salad so will follow that with one of those

blueberry gingered lemon muffins thanks Sylvs

Hope it is okay with you Cyns if I put a bit of vanilla bean yoghurt with it... that sound okay?

Think I'll have some toast this morning, with this really tasty, much better than better than real butter (NOT) Flora low fat, cholesterol zapping fat!

Hit on a new 'made up' soup this week. I used to make potato, onion and lentil soup (no fat) but JB was never keen

So I adapted it this week. Loads of veg, spuds, carrots, broccoli, peas, onions, swede, cover with water, teaspoon of paprika, pinch of very hot chilli, sprinkling of coriander and seasoning.....buddy gorgeous and hit with all of them

.......easy peasy
