I was thinking that the other day. She hasn't been on the other side either :-S

I'll send her a pm to see if she is okay.

If I could find a diet that would just reduce the 'bread basket' area, I would consider it. The rest of me is just reasonable for my age!! ;-)

rain rain rain all day

The news is good .......... one small polyp removed, go back to see the doc in 1 year, and have a colonoscopy in 2 years.

The polyp will be examined of course to make sure it isn't cancerous. But it doesn't seem that the doc was too concerned.

More rain tomorrow ........ so we are in a warm wet period

OH saw the first snowdrop in flower in our garden this morning

Poor OH Sylvs.....I love the way you say you have 'to assume responsibility for him' .......... makes it sound as though he is being released on bail!! :-D :-D

Manic Wednesday is now over..........early night and, hopefully, a normal day tomorrow.......

I'll plank that Fans one day - cheeky wotsit that she is. Humph.

and

it is supposed to continue raining this afternoon ................. we have to take the bus to the hospital, and then a cab home

waterproof jackets at the ready!

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 8 Feb 2012 19:22

OH has not eaten anything containing seeds or nuts since Saturday, but could eat all other foods, until midnight on Monday.

Then he was on a purely liquid diet from yesterday morning.

Plus having to take a "clean out" medication beginning yesterday afternoon.

Worse for him was that he had bought beef bouillon to have as his "food", without noticing that he could not have any coffee or "dark" tea this morning............. we then assumed that would also cover "dark" broth.

.............. so he has had no breakfast other than jello today.

He has to check in at 2:15 pm ................... then I have to be ready to assume responsibility for him about 90 minutes later.

poor dear will be ravenous!!!

Oh good grief, you lot have been having fun....not

Nice cheery health chat and bathrooms in the kitchen. Who in their right mind would hose a bathroom down, unless its a sealed wet room!!

Long day, tired tired tired

Renes, thats a really good weight loss...well done :-D I get on my new scales tomorrow, so we'll see what they say

Dea

Dea Report 8 Feb 2012 16:56

THANK GOODNESS I went down into the kitchen to make a start on Dinner !!!

Hubby has just managed to flood the bathroom, causing water to come through the kitchen ceiling, running down the light cables, into the bulbs and exploding them !!!............ Oh Joy !!! :-( :-( :-0

It all started with him fitting a new light in the bathroom which meant he had to fill in the hole from the old fitting and so paint the ceiling!

He had made quite a mess and as the bathroom was in need of a good clean (which I said I would start on in the morning), he decided he would make a start now (bless him! <3).

Unfortunately, he thought it best to 'hose down' the tiles around the bath with the shower head and was scrubbing away quite merrily, not bothering about all the water which was pouring onto the floor (he had put a towel down, after all !! :-0) - Anyway the water was not inclined to soak into the towel so travelled under the bath, through the floorboards and down through the kitchen ceiling!

Thank goodness I was down there at the time and could turn off the electricity and stop him so quickly :-D :-D :-D

THIS is why I don't like my lovely hubby to help with the cleaning - he just hasn't a clue !!! - He is brilliant at lots of things but a total disaster with others <3

Will have to cook dinner without the big lights on tonight, wearing my wellies and my rainhat until it all dries out ;-)

Dea Xxx

P.S. to Renes - looks like you are doing really well with the diet!

Well done,

Dea x
