I'm free this weekend Renes

Cows give milk naturally, we don’t have to slaughter them (shoot them in the head) or breed them forcefully.....if you like chewing flesh, carry on, but the world is over grazed with cattle

C

I quite agree with you re infections

I'm pretty certain that I did not have stomach flu ........ I think it was something I ate on Monday.

That's because I had the first bout that night, managed to take something that stopped it, but it returned on Tuesday night.

but I felt so tired, and weak that I just could not face a) riding the bus, or b) being pummeled (aka massaged)!

I feel even better now after a roast chicken with sage & onion stuffing sandwich for lunch :-)

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 22 Feb 2012 21:40

Hear hear ja...x! Preferably nicely roasted with Yorkshire pudding. :-D

You were sensible not to go to your appointment today Sylvs.....I can well imagine that they were glad that you didn't.

I'm sure many of the infections in hospitals are brought in by patients and visitors. Very silly to put others at risk.

Made so much pancake batter last night that we're going to have them for dinner again tonight!

OH helped me make them ..... and when asked should we do the 12 or 20 ounce milk one, he said "oh, the larger the better" ;-)

We had roast chicken on Sunday

then went out for dinner on Monday with our friends from the Island

had pancakes last night

and will pancakes again tonight

so, after dinner last night ...................

OH sliced and pulled all the meat off the carcase, and we froze it for future use!

That meant the carcase could go into the garbage for pick-up this morning.

It's been a long day today..........was hoping OH would be able to get to church tonight - Ash Wednesday - he got his coat on and then seized up. So I put my jammies on and settled down again. Seems odd not going.
