Standing seems to be almost compulsory on our trains, you can end up standing most of the journey if youre on a busy train :-0

Pers, watch out for Sylvs broom, it also has splinters........you'll need your Bridget Jones pants my dear ;-)

Morning all

breakfast will appear soon

Gins ................ those killed in the Canadian train crash were all train engineers ............ the 2 regular ones, and a trainee riding in the engine with them

This was a long distance train from Niagara to Toronto .................. no standing allowed on them.

it seems a lot of injuries might have been caused when the overhead lockers (like you get on planes) came open, and stuff was thrown about the carriages.

ja...x ..... that was a horrible disaster.

I seem to have eaten a type of disease yesterday.. then I took a chopper ride...

I have some family born Finsbury in the 1860s... first child born Bishopsgate then the next two at St Lukes Finsbury.. I assume at the hospital there. Their father was a surgeon .. he was my great grandfather's brother.

Mornin.........I nearly had yesterdays breakfast, as I didnt appear all day!

BBC news are featuring that train crsah in Canada....it always astounds me how many people are killed in train accidents, maybe because they are over crowed and standing most of the time?

Up a bit early as son came home from club work an hour ago, teenagers just dont know how to be quiet :-|

Jonesey Report 27 Feb 2012 07:38

Spanikopita. What is it?

Sounds like a debilitating disease to me! The victim succumbed to a severe bout of Spanikopita in her late twenties from which she never fully recovered.
