Good morning all.

Potato, dill and cheddar soup please, then cheese and onion tarts topped with LOADS of bacon.

What a lovely way to start the morning! - Thank you Sylvs... <3

Glad OH is feeling a bit better LK <3

Sylvia - the 'chicken pox' has brough back a very painful memory for you, it's strange how little things can often do that.

Just think how much stronger you are nowadays and how you manage to get through all these awful problems with a smile on your face.

Just make sure that you all have a 'good day' today, you can worry about the following one tomorrow.

Dea Xxx
(((HUGS))) to all ! Xxx

LK

glad he is feeling much better today.

My daughter caught chicken pox at the age of 21 .................... she was working for the summer in a museum, and we think one of the kids who came on a school trip was sick.

She had a terrible time with the itches ............... but the doctor told her to buy an anti-histamine allergy remedy. It worked wonders!

She was in one bedroom, feeling very sorry for herself, while I was in our room down the hall, feeling very sorry for myself 'cos I'd just had a lumpectomy that morning, and been told that it was cancer "as we thought".

OH was running between the 2 of us, trying to keep us both happy, and supplied with whatever it was that we needed!

Normally, she would have been cuddling up with me, but I just couldn't run the risk.

She was just about recovered by the time I had the mastectomy 2 weeks later.

I am back. He feels much better today.
Yes we have both had chicken pox and we are baby sitting tomorrow.
I think it would too late for a vaccine now.
5 new cases in her nursery today.

She is not ill with it so her daddy had a hard time today as she was bored and hated staying indoors.

Crocuses are out.Bluebells in flower. I have seen a magnolia tree today in full bud. Daffs about to bloom. Spring is on the way.
And it is freezing.

LK

Have you and OH had chicken pox in the past??

you might to see if you can get the shingles vaccine NOW

There might be a problem, as the vaccine is in short supply ............. OH is waiting for a delivery before he can use his prescription.

It is expensive ............ BUT the chicken pox virus stays in your body, and can "wake to life" under stress, or when exposed again to chicken pox ........ and then you get shingles.

Your OH does not want that now!

Hi all

a beautiful sunny day here ........... but it got down to freezing last night, so everyone had to scrape their windshields, and there was black ice around.

It is only about 5 or 6C outside, and it's the middle of the afternoon!

She hasn't been around for a while.........hope she' s okay.

I'm with T***T*** Gins. It's a good deal financially but they do do some odd things at time and, to be honest, I really can't face the hassle of changing at the moment.

Had better go before my megabytes go bananas........ :-(
