I hope he had a good day!

and yes, they do move fast ............ cancer is one of the priority operations.

our daughter was told to use

a) warm baths, and
b) anti-histamine tablets

to help ease the discomfort of chicken-pox

She spent hours in the bath!!

She was 4 a few weeks ago Dea.

I was not sure if they still use calamine but apparently they do.

It seems guidelines constantly change.

Nice one Jonesey. :-D :-D :-D

OH has a birthday today so although it was my day off I had to go into work for a business meeting and surprise pizza birthday lunch.

We baby sat for Granddaughter last night who was a little angel.
Then half hour after settling down to sleep she woke in floods of tears as she was very uncomfortable and did not know where to put herself.

OH has been called to the hospital next Wednesday and will be given a date then. So fast.

Dear oh dear Jonesey............ :-D

Definitely on a tight budget Gins........this flippin dongle cost me £30 for a month's supply but I've used one heck of a lot and had to top up with another tenner! :-| :-| :-|

My ISP has given me £15 credit on my bill but I am being very canny on how much I am using! Hopefully, I should be back to normal soon.......

Me? Normal? Don't be silly!

Bye for now ~~~~~~~~~~

One for Sylvia when she arrives:

It's late fall and the Indians on a remote reserve in Alberta asked their new chief if the coming winter was going to be cold or mild.

Since he was a new young chief in a modern society, he had never been taught the old secrets. When he looked at the sky, he couldn't tell what the winter was going to be like.

Nevertheless, to be on the safe side, he told his tribe that the winter was indeed going to be cold and that the members of the village should collect firewood to be prepared.

But, being a practical leader, after several days, he got an idea. He went to the phone booth, called Environment Canada and asked, 'Is the coming winter going to be cold?'

'It looks like this winter is going to be quite cold,' the meteorologist at the weather service responded.

So the chief went back to his people and told them to collect even more firewood in order to be prepared.

A week later, he called Environment Canada again. 'Does it still look like it is going to be a very cold winter?'

'Yes,' the man at Environment Canada again replied, 'it's going to be a very cold winter.'

The chief again went back to his people and ordered them to collect every scrap of firewood they could find.

Two weeks later, the chief called Environment Canada again. 'Are you absolutely sure that the winter is going to be very cold?'

'Absolutely,' the man replied.’ It’s looking more and more like it is going to be one of the coldest winters we've ever seen.'

'How can you be so sure?' the chief asked.

The weatherman replied, 'Because the Indians are collecting a shedload of firewood'

well, I think we are now officially having the 3rd warmest winter on record in Canada ........ most areas that is.

................ there was a blizzard in Newfoundland as the country's Senior Meteorologist gave an interview, in which he admitted that he and most other meteorologists had been wrong in their predictions!
