That is very true about the cards Gins.....I was rather startled to find those that read...."congratulations on your divorce" and then one that said something about congratulations on "getting out of prison" :-S :-S :-S

I've got a fair amount of washing dry....you can keep the rain thanks.

OH has been channel hopping as per usual and has come across the 10 Commandments.........so hammy now but so fantastic in the cinema when it was first released.....and no, it wasn't a silent movie Gins... :-P

Mind you, I didn't realise that Moses was bald.

You see

Sometimes he walked with Aaron ..

and sometimes he didn't :-D :-D

Gee

Gee Report 7 Apr 2012 08:28

Its your imaginations Mrs C...............I didnt go into detail!

Dont hang the washing out, its raining here and it will be on its way to you soon

I remember when Easter lasted about a week, you could buy eggs at that time and no other. Christmas used to start in Dec and not Sept and Fathers day didnt exist, along with trick or treat

Now theres a card and a gift idea for every none occation.....So sorry to hear the sad loss of your dog and such....sell sell sell

...........sigh

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 7 Apr 2012 08:11

Thanks Gins.....just what I needed whilst having my brekkie........ :-S
(I used to add a little sugar to them after they were cooked)

I was actually going to say about the fact that you had a 'dry' Friday night......didn't realise the hosepipe ban had reached Sheffield :-P

Thanks Sylvs......what I meant about the Hot Cross buns thingey was that I don't eat them at any other time of year. I start with them on Maundy Thursday.........sigh. Remember when you couldn't buy Eastery things until.....well, .... Easter?

Grey day..........to peg out or not to peg out...that is the question
:-D

Gee

Gee Report 7 Apr 2012 08:00

No Syl.....much more effective than beans!

Yes Dea, I soaked them in bicarb for a few hours............not doing that again, well not for JB to eat anyway :-0

I have just put fresh linen on the bed!

Dea

Dea Report 7 Apr 2012 07:47

Did you put bicarbonate of soda in them Ginns ? - That's how we used to cook them in the olden days !

Good morning everyone :-)

As we have such a lovely brunch to look forward to, I will get into the 'Seasonal Spirit' and have a couple of toasted hot cross buns for now, smothed with butter.

Loverly............. <3

Thank you Sylvia,

Dea x

Night Dea.....sleep tight.

Mushy peas are okay in small doses. I know someone who has them with mashed potato - she is a veggie too...............but it does look a bit yucky on the plate....... :-S

Where has time gone? Mind you, Easter weekend is a bit busy for us so that probably explains it. Bedtime again........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
