OOhhh we are all 'doom and gloom', 'best wishes' and condolences' - Lets all forget our problems and just wish each other well !!!! <3 <3 <3

One day, none of us will have a problem and we can just have a 'good old giggle' together !!!

Persie - where are you with those jokes you promised ???

Margee

we can both cheer for both teams right through to the last round ...........the Stanley Cup Final round

THEN we become sworn enemies :-D

we were in Ottawa a few years ago, when the Senators were in the Final round .......... we were in the Westin, and stood at our window watching the game on a giant screen set up to our left ....... outside City Hall??

Chateau Laurier and Parliament were to the right, and old train station to the right front, Rideau Canal right in front.

It was great fun! The huge crowd was pretty well behaved :-D

Hi Margee,

I have to admit that I don't know anything about Ice hockey but just wanted to say that it is nice to see you on here again.

You have to promise though that you and Sylvia will only be 'sworn enemies' for the duration of the game ;-) :-)

My team won last night too, Sylvia. We're now tied 2-2. We won both times in overtime.

Wouldn't it be great if we ended up with the 2 Canadian teams fighting for Lord Stanley's cup? But then you and I would have to become sworn enemies.

Go Sens go!!!

Good morning all,

Thank you for your kind wishes and concern <3 <3 <3

He really does seem to be O.K. now, thank goodness but when I called for the ambulance I really believed he had had a stroke................

They still don't really know what it was - maybe some sort of seizure ???

Anyway they will investigate further and I just hope it dousn't happen again !

I think just a little tomato toast for me for now but I am sure I will be back for a proper breakfast a little later.

Dea Xxx

P.S. - Ginns, I hope that you have a better day today too.

Thank you Sylvs.......very sorry about you stepping in the marmalade - I'd gone to fetch a cloth and ........well, you know the rest....... :-(

Mind you, it was funny seeing how you got it on only one shoe and how you walked round the kitchen......"dot one ..carry one" - as my mum used to say when limping around...... :-D

Poor Dea....I bet she has had a restless night. I'll fetch a plate and just put some of what she likes best on it 'cos she may have lost her appetite after the trauma of yesterday........ :-(

I'll keep some milk for her too so that if she can't face food, she can drink that to help keep her strength up. I used to do that when we had similar traumas - got through gallons of the stuff because I couldn't eat.... :-S

Sending love to her <3 <3

Today I am hoping to take my 'poorly' friend shopping, so we will be looking at anything which will help her to maintain her independence foodwise. :-D

Got ironing to do first though................... ;-)
