Gins yes thats true about the legacy and in a way its a living legacy they say every cloud has a silver lining at the time of my Dads death the farm was struggling to survive and his death brought a rush of donations and volunteers the girls told me today that people still come and ask wher he is. My family found it comforting that we can "google" him and lots of stuff comes up and there were a few articles in the local papers at the time which I have got copies of for future generations there were lots of pictures on the walls of mum and Dad from years ago was nice to see.

Dea :-P ;-) I dinna ken what ye mean at a!!

Sylvia I know what you mean I let him off with going for the scan by himself but when he sees the consultant next month I WILL be going ;-)

OH doesn't like me to go to medical appointments with him ...........

.............. so I have to trust that he "tells the whole story and nothing but the whole story", to paraphrase a police saying :-D

Sometimes I wonder, I really do :-|

I got a pm from the Riley woman .......... she has deleted all her threads.

she said she didn't return because GR wouldn't let her on. Then she apologised, but got a lot of nasty messages, so deleted.

Of course, waiting a year before returning happened twice, so GR must have really disliked her :-D

Long day today.

I think we was talking about 2 different threads Dea..

I was talking about the R iley thread who did not like me collecting her conversation from other sited so I could compare the info. She never did tell me the correct fathers name.

Sylvia I think we all need an extra dose of vitamins with breakfast tomorrow. And some super foods. Please put mine in the bag to go as I have work again tomorrow.

We took her to visit the city farm which my Mum and Dad started up over 30 years ago nice to see its still going quite emotional to visit it without Dad being there :-(
Sylvia well done to your OH its nice to feel appreciated hope you both enjoy the break

So, it went well?

Why did you expect a woman............rather have a bloke any day ;-)

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 27 Apr 2012 18:22

That's THAT over and done with for now anyway!

I was expecting a lady of, perhaps, middle years. Who did we get? A young chap! He arrived at 4 and left at 5. Has made certain suggestions which may help OH and it seems that, as and when OH's condition deteriorates, we simply ask for another assessment to get additional help. :-)

Gins......I will send a message tomorrow - I always give them 24 hours to find their way back..... :-D

Hmmm.........'ace barnett' eh?

Personally, I prefer the balaclava!!! :-P
