	OH just bought his seed potatoes today he'll plant them later this afternoon, and hopefully tomorrow. Hope he gets them in before we leave on Tuesday He's trying a new variety (to us) this year. We usually grow yellows, and a row of blues just for fun. They're usually delicious, and right from the back garden :-D ............ BUT over the years, we have a few varieties that we don't grow a second time! They're very easy to grow .......... I think even I could do it :-D :-D :-D s xx

	I have to say Ginns that I have not had a 'good' potato for years !! They do not cook properly, they do not taste of 'proper potato' and I am getting desperate !!! I think I will have to find a local farm which can provide 'proper ones' !!! Dea Xxx

	If they were good spuds, Id have left them in the oven for 10 mins.....I left them for nearly an hour Not good, but edible!

	GOOD mashed spuds is an 'art' to achieve Cynths !!! The right level of butter, salt and pepper - In my case, grated cheese also !! Hope you get there Ginns !!! Dea Xxx

	Spread them on a baking tray and put them in a hot oven, then, mash them through again! Dea x

	MC....do you know what I mean about 'wet spuds'? Why do we get them? Ive got them on top of a shepherds pie, drying out in the oven! Ive put cheese, butter and seasoning in them and they are not good :-(

	After the hob treatment - stir in LOTS of butter and grated cheese (Vegetarian, of course) - put into a buttered dish - Put on sliced tomatoes and extra grated cheese and then place under a HOT grill !!!!! Delicious !!!!!!!! Dea Xxx
