Hi Sylvs..

Lunche boxes are at the ready.. Thermos of coffee for LK.

I get confused as to what the heck I am doing on a Saturday and Sunday

So I have rustled up some scrambled eggs with bacon bits and chives to have on toast.

Grilled some ham steaks and lamb chops to munch on..

Crumpets under the grill... you can have honey, jam, vegemite or peanut butter on them or if you prefer melted brie or garlic mushrooms..

Muffins, scones and pastries in the warmer.

Hi all
xxx

got back this afternoon

weather ran the whole gamut from sun to snow ............ both going and coming back!

We did have to cross 4 mountain passes that were 1200 m to over 1500 m high ....... and rain down below tends to equal snow up there!!

Early start tomorrow so box for the train appreciated.
Thanks Perse.

He coped well today.

Earlier this week he decided to root around in his shed in the dark with a torch.
Do not ask me why cos I go not know.
He had a fall and a very heavy saw landed on him.
He was lucky he did not have any bits chopped off.
:-0 :-0
Silly sausage.

How about that Dea?

I rattled her cage and Gins appeared..

I put on a kilo and then lost it again in the space of a week.. and I hadn't moved the scales.. they could do with a dust though.. wonder where Cyns has put the cloth and cleaner. ... probably in the fridge with the way she has been behaving lately.

Hope she doesn't where her washing up gloves to Church in morning..

It's a bit like when you go to a restaurant and have a fantastic meal and you tell other people about it - they go and the meal is a disaster !!

We had a local Pub which did wonderful lunches and we told some friends - by the time they went there it had changed hands and was really not good!

I had been watching 'The Voice' 'coz my grand-daughter said it was good - I watched it for a couple of weeks and it had been absolutely first class - the artists and the judges, in fact, everything about it.

I finally persuaded hubby to watch it with me tonight and it was truly embarrasingly bad in every respect !!

Doesn't that always happen ??? :-| :-( :-(

I should have kept my mouth shut !!!

Little grand-daughter has reached new heights !!

She is one who can 'howl for England' if she gets the slightest knock but on this occasion she has excelled herself.

Last week she had a friend over and afterwards there were lots of toys left on the floor with dress-up clothes on top and a hard plastic toybox alongside.

She went in there and tripped over the clothes, took flight and landed on (or almost in) the hard toy box.

She has a bruise at least 6" long and more than an inch wide on her leg, alongside other smaller ones.

She has watched it turn from purple to black and to green round the edges !!

Apparently ALL of her class have seen it, all her teachers and helpers and apparently xxxxx (a boy in her class, who is the bravest in her school) had to turn away when he saw it !!!!!!!!!

She has now learned a new word - "kudos" :-D :-D :-D

Gin,

The blades shouldn't find the play offs too challenging despite their recent drop off in performance. First up Stevenage who only won 18 games in the regular season. My guess is that the Blades will meet MK Dons in the final who will be a stiffer test but should be beatable. The Blades main concern has got to be who is going to replace Ched Evans in scoring the goals needed.

I hope that they make it through, it would be nice to see both Sheffield clubs in the championship again.

Gee Report 5 May 2012 17:48
