Just Googled..........how sexy were they, NOT!

I got the new lamp for the car and they fitted it for me - £22, it would have cost double that at Sytner!

Jonesey Report 6 May 2012 17:39

Dea,

I remember liberty bodices with their rubber buttons and the "Utility" mark.

As you say the youth of today, don't know they have been born. :-D

Dea

Dea Report 6 May 2012 17:02

That's the thing Ginns - Hubbys car cost him £800+ recently because the heating/air conditioner didn't work !! - should have been over £1,000 but they messed him about something dreadful !!!

WHEREAS, my little 22 year old beauty has not got any of this sophisticated stuff to worry about - if a bit goes wrong, it costs pence to replace ;-) :-D :-D :-D

Cyns... the grill isn't on.. the crumpets are sitting there waiting for one to turn it on before you go to eat them.

Goodness only knows what she rescued.. probably some odd brown shoes...

My mother did that too Cyns... she had two pairs of smart navy and white brogue type shoes (this was back in the forties.. I was not around then) and she didn't notice till she alighted from the tram.. It ruined her day.. no one else noticed .. well not till she told them...

Persie! The crumpets...... :-0 :-0

Got 'em! :-D

Morning all and welcome back Sylvs.

Thanks for that Persie........I need a coffee please after the shock of rescuing those crumpets.

re rubber gloves Persie...... Ahem.....I hate to admit it, but 3-4 years ago I went with odd shoes on.......they were both brown anyway! :-D

I also remember being told about a Bishop's wife who turned up for a service in her underskirt..... :-0 Super lady who, sadly, developed dementia a few years later.

I am now depressed..... :-( :-(

But....the sun is shining :-D

See you later ~~~
