Ive been pulling teeth on a thread for the last two days!

Dea Report 9 May 2012 15:23

Well, what a day !!!

I was up VERY early because hubby was awake because the sun was shining brightly and the birds were having a 'field day' outside :-(

For some reason, I couldn't settle to sit on here and felt the need to have my bath and get dressed before I was hardly even awake.

What a good job I did because at 8.10a.m. the door bell rang and 2 very cheery painters stood outside who had come (unannounced) to paint the eves and soffits of my house :-0

We had asked them about it a few weeks ago and they were going to ring to arrange when to come but as the weather was nice today they thought they would come and do it ..................

Anyway, they have gone now and my wood is all 'protected' again.... pheewww!!!

Bye Wall ~~~~~~~~ you have obviously reached your 'boundaries' and need to 'partition' yourself. I hope you 'retain' your sense of humour and do not develop too many cracks in your 'facade'.

Gins......can you really see me in 'stretchy' clothes......sheeeeesh.

If you buy stretchy clothes, you dont need to iron them

I have a little guessing game on the dark side!

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 8 May 2012 08:02

Thank you Sylvs...Ulster fry up sounds just the thing to start the day.

Linda - I'm with your OH.......ironing is great therapy. You can take frustrations out on awkward creases or simply glide along the seams of a skirt in a trance.......

Iron underwear? Of course I iron underwear! Good heaven's do you think I am going to send OH out in crinkled cotton? He may get knocked down by a bus! He always compliments me and says the whiteness is blinding him then he folds them neatly and puts them away.
