Linds.....sorry to hear about you being hacked, it happens a lot these days, I dont think it matters which bank youre with

My bank phone me when there are large debits, they phoned me on a Sunday a while ago when I paid for the new TV at John Lewis......about an hour after paying online! I guess its in 'their' interest as they have to pay you back.....

Linda! That's dreadful and something everyone dreads. We have a separate small account now and just use it for online transactions etc. Hope the bank can sort it out for you......... <3

Washing blowing on the line - birds singing away.....lovely morning :-D

Sylvia glad all went ok hope tests come back all clear :-)

Cynthia your OH must have given you a real fright

We went to get our holiday money today and I decided to check we had enough in one account to pay the bills that comeout of it while we are away. Just as well I did it had been hacked they tried a small amount first and then kept going till they hit the overdraft limit :-|
They have put a stop on my card and will reissue with new pin and reimburse the money also Banks fraud squad and police will investigate :- Thank goodness it wasnt our main account just the one we only keep a few hundred in to use if buying online or paying by phone and to pay OH's mobile and insurance (he gave them wrong account number) its frightening how they can do this but I have told the bank I want to know why it wasnt spotted as 5 transactions for the same amount to the same company went out in succession :-(
I really need my holiday now :-)
