It IS scarey Ginns - It is like the other week when my hubby collapsed unconscious in his chair and I thought he had had a stroke.

I was stroking his face and talking to him trying to bring him round and at the same time I had called an ambulance and the woman was talking to me telling me what to do etc.

She said to me at one stage, when he was starting to wake - '"get him onto the floor and place him in the recovery position"..... WELL - If she could have seen the size of him and the size of little me, added to the fact that we were in the office and his office chair is behind his desk in quite a confined space for trying to manouver anyone - I would have to get him out, around the desk, out of the room and into the hall to find a piece of floor large enough to lie him down in .......... I just weakly said .... I can't do that :-( :-(.

Luckily he soon managed to stand and I got him into the hall by which time he was actually not to bad but I 'ordered' him to lie down and get into the right position and would not let him move (poor man!) until the paramedic arrived. :-0 :-D :-D

The paramedic asked him if he was able to stand and he said that he could but he had been given orders to stay there and not to move until he was told to !! - Then, they both looked at me and had a little chuckle.....

Anyway, hope JB recovers quickly <3 <3 <3

Id does 'throw you' though when you are used to them being 'big and strong' doesn't it ??

He's in bed and I fell alseep stroking his head!

Bit scary hearing a huge thud and going to find him in a heap under the sink......hes a tough old Welsh ex rugby player, not like him at all :-0

Hes had orders NOT to move unless I am holding him up.....going up with more fluids now

Try 'ovenpride' Dea for cleaning your racks!! Mine were disgusting and this left them sparkly and new looking again!! Mind you it is lethal stuff and i have heard horror stories of burns and damage to worktops if the bag leaks!!! I put mine in the garage and it was a good job cos the bag did leak!!

i will have a little of everything for breakfast today Sylvia please - except the soup!!??? :-D

Here I is Cynthia - I managed a little lie in this morning :-) - Hope you enjoy the afternoon with your friend.

Ginns - I hope JB will be feeling better soon <3 Do you think it could have been the shock of seeing your 'real face' on the new avatar ??? :-0

See you all later,

Dea Xxx

P.S. - Sylvia - last time I had to have one of those 'fasting' blood tests the appointment wasn't until 10.45 am so I took an 'emergency' banana and a chocolate bar in my handbag so I could eat them in the car before I drove home :-D :-D :-D

Someone I helped a couple of years ago has returned to her thread, and now wants to take my avatar of grandma ................... she is convinced that it is her ancestor and I have put it on here to show her :-0

I think she is seriously :-S :-S

Jax had a similar problem with her last year.

Dea

we bought a continuous clean oven back in 1972 ............... helps to keep it clean longer.

My current oven has a "clean" feature on it ................ turn it on, and the door locks closed while the oven temperature heats up to over 500F and burns off the brunt offerings

Doesn't clean the window OR the racks though :-(

Goodness me! What it is to be missed!!

Thank you kindly for your concern - I am fine. Wednesdays are such busy days though - I have just sat down after being on the go since I don't know when :-0

Shopping, ironing, picking up grandchildren early from school - it all adds up.

Provided almost the equivalent of a Christmas dinner for son and grandchildren and then decided the oven was looking distinctly grubby so have had a quick go at that 'orrible job.

Am now going to get my jamas on and settle to watch Lewis but will keep an eye on you lot - don't you fret...... :-D

Like you pic Gins.........it's SUCH a good likeness...... :-P
