I am here too Ginns - just for a minute !! - I am HOT !!! :-D :-(

Grand-daughter has gone to brownies now, after she had drowned grandad with the water from the paddling pool ! - She had SUCH fun !

Shattered now ! :-(

You must have one of those 'up and over garage doors Ginns? - You ought to get one that rolls up by remote control - they are not that much more expensive comparatively but SO much easier.

We have had one probably for about 15 years now - the old 'up and over' used to kill my back as I am not tall enough to pull it up properly and used to have to pull it up so far and then get my arms underneath it and stretch up on my tippy toes to push it fully open :-( :-( Now, I just press a button from my car as I am approaching the driveway and drive straight in :-D

Thank you Sylvs......I'm in a toast mood this morning.

Linda - glad you have had a good break - it sounds as though you enjoyed yourself and feeling more relaxed.

LK - hope everything goes well for you both this morning <3

Jonesey - thank you for that. Is there anything on the Snope (?) website about that virus? Sometimes people start hoax messages for some unearthly reason.......but it's always better to be safe than sorry... :-) I was going to say that I will be thinking of you in an hour's time - but HH isn't on. Guess the series has finished. Never mind, I'll think of you anyway ;-) :-D :-D

Just spotted this but I don't know how true it might be. I am posting it for the benefit of those of you who visit the dark side just in case.

"Beware the new computer virus spreading via chat messaging window on Facebook"

A new computer virus is spreading via the chat window on Facebook.
The pop-up window, used for person-to-person chat, pops up with a message from a 'friend' which links to an innnocent looking website.
Clicking the link instantly infects your PC with the virus, labelled Steckt.Evl by discoverers Trend Micro. The virus instantly disables and removes anti-virus software, then spreads itself by opening chat windows on the Facebook friends of the user.

hello everyone
just got caught up with everyones news since we went on holiday.

Sylvia thanks we had a nice time. We went for a "chill out" and other than a busy full day trip to Venice which included a Gondola ride and a trip on the water taxis then lunch and a visit to the islands of Murano and Burano we mainly chilled out at the pool (and I mean it literally it was freezing OH goes in and says "Its a bit cold but its ok once your in as hes turning blue) I just sunbathed and managed to finish a whole book. Bliss just what we both needed!

the hotel was VERY clean but the bathroom was TINY to the extent that our GD would just have got in the bath :-(
Hope everyones OH's are fully recovered now.
Now Im going to bed check back tomorrow :-) :-D
