I saw these peak caps in the DIY store today and thought I should get himself one.. they have these little lights (so so tiny) under the peak that give out two streams of light onto your work... He does tend to start late in the day and finishes up working in the dark.. It's a wonder that things are not all wonky..

People do funny things late at night ... Himself used to do his own motor mechanics in our garage after work ( we had two cheap old cars).. We couldn't afford to pay so he would go and ask mechanics what to do etc..

One night at about 2am.. I was sound asleep and he came and woke me up so I could tow him around the local streets for a decent hill start.

Our neighbours were always going out about midnight.. turns out he was taking her out to park herself under Fan's gaslight and work the street.

Persie...

Just over half-an-hour ago, we heard a funny noise outside

couldn't make out what it was, so OH peered out the window.

Then he took a walk outside

a neighbour down the street was using a weed-eater on his front garden

It was 10:30 PM, and dark!

OH said he had some sort of torch to help him see what he was doing :-D :-D :-D :-D

I will boil my egg and have sourdough soldiers..

Searching for one person's death and found the son's... I knew he was born in a Castle in Dublin .. he died in Sonnenburg-Neumark Penitentiary, Germany.

His mother's family spread themselves all over the place.. she was born in Kent.. one brother went to Canada at 16, Australia at 21 and then served in the Royal Army Medical Corps and died 1901 South Africa. Another brother died in Sierra Leone and several of the family spent time in India. They do have me going all over the place (there were 12 children though one died aged 1) without even leaving my armchair.

I was in ours (and Aussies) DIY store (Bunnings) today and there was all this wood in plastic and stamped in big letters on the side of it is:

IBS - Non - Structural Plywood..

That ought to do the trick.. plenty of fibre in your diet there n'est pas?

IBS .... is a company called Independent Building Supplies..

Linda

remembering that cramps are caused by over-active contractions of muscles in the intestines ...............

I use Imodium Advanced caplets, which has 2 components .......

loperamide 2 mg

simethicone 125 mg .......... this relieves the other symptoms of gas, cramps and bloating.

It is an over-the-counter drug here, commonly available in all pharmacies.

Do read the directions very carefully though!

I am 5'3 1/2 that is very important that 1/2... or so it says on my really old passport..

I remember not wanting to put that my hair was red... so I put down chestnut... now that the red has faded and the white has crept in more and more (one hairdresser thought I had had frosting done) I was wondering if I should have piebald on my current passport....

Neigh I don't think I could hoof that .. just went and looked at passport.. they couldn't care less no place for colouring.
