Hello.....
Had a semi lazy day spent a few hours with GD and her "other" gran temp hit 29c here today.
Sylvia had a look at that post ooer some people just dont think ahead :-|
OH is feeling poorly while we were on holiday "something" flew into his eye which watered a bit then went ok.
When we got home it started again so he went to the optician who said he has damaged his cornea and has now got 2 different things to use one at night cos seemingly as his eye is healing it dries up and overnight can stick to his eyelid and cause more damage he may have to use meds for up to 3 months :-(
Cyns I have apile of ironing
did anyone have a look at my sons bands website?
;-) ;-) ;-)

Hi
Had to go and have breakfast ............. I was so early!!
Yes, Cyn ..........
..... He started as David, then changed his name within a day or two of that posting to B-E.
It seems that when you change your board name now, the original name stays on the OP of any thread you have started, but changes automatically on all other postings made in that name.
So he is David on the OP of that thread, and B-E in his responses in the thread.
I now have his membership number in my little black book :-D
I think his style will be recognizable
It was great to be awake and semi-alert when all you others were also awake and semi-alert :-D :-D :-D

So, are Benjamin-Elijah and David one and the same person?
You now need to keep an eye out for 'Moses', 'Aaron' or 'Methusaleh'.......... :-D
It's funny to be talking to you during daylight hours Sylvs.......we can both look at the sun at the same time......and wave to each other :-D :-D
Have been ironing for England today and just finished.........lovelyjubbly!

The thread with the comments on his mother is still on, although bot comments have been removed.

I came on the 'puter to find TWO emails from GR, each warning me that ....
" this posting breaches the Message Board guidelines and terms and conditions " ................
and
"Continuing to create content of this nature may result in your eventual removal from the site"
....... both are the result of a thread on Find Living where a man is attempting to find his unknown father from a list of "possibles" gleaned from a list of names of men who seemingly knew his mother at the appropriate time.
He objected to warnings re posting names and all information of such "suspects".
Another thread, which I refused to post on, was also looking for a suspect, but last night he posted the most awful accusations against his mother. Both of those posts have been RR'd, one last night and removed by now, the other still showing as RR'd.
What I do find particularly amusing was that the second post of mine, after yet another attack on me was .............
"lol! This is getting very funny. It's a good job I have a very good sense of humour"
so, he doesn't like humour!!!
Just be very wary of Benjamin-Elijah.

Thank you Sylvs - it's a porridge morning for me please. :-D
Thanks for the link re Olive........I do wish people would read the guidelines first. Having said that though, I don't always do it myself on other sites :-(
Could you hear the muffled sobbing in the night........? Hope Gins gets over whatever it is soon................ :-S
I think I may be ironing all day...... :-D I changed all sheets at the weekend so there is now a vast amount of crumpled bedding and clothes waiting to be smoothed into a semblence of order :-D

we're going out to dinner this evening ................... with our best friends from the Island, the one has dementia/Alzheimers.
They are over here to go to one of the grad ceremonies tomorrow, and are staying at the hotel down the street. We'll meet them at our favourite little bistro, it's just around the corner from the hotel.
Daughter's plans for her visit in July are falling into place.
They arrive very late on a Friday (about 11:00 pm our time, 3:00 am theirs), straight to bed. The hope is that "tiddley" will sleep on the plane
The following Friday they will go to stay with our friends for the weekend (he is daughter's Godfather).
They return to us on the Monday, and then leave to return home on the evening flight on Thursday .............. same idea as the earlier flight ........ "tiddley" might sleep.
Pigs might fly, as well :-D :-D
so they will be here for just 13 days.
