My word, you were certainly well looked after last night Dea..........even Jonesey gave you a (hug). ;-) All that food.....and I missed it :-(


Good morning everyone..........scrambled egg on toast please Sylvs, haven't had that for ages. Thank you. :-D


OH was up and pattering around just after 6.30am.......he always gets up early when 'someone' is due to visit...........and the chair cleaning man isn't due until 9.15am..... :-S

I spose I'll something to do till then...........yawn.......scuse me!

Good morning everyone




breakfast is ready


Fresh fruit salad with vanilla yoghourt


Honey Yoghurt and Berries, with granola and walnuts
Granola and yoghurt parfait


Porridge with chopped up dates, bananas, and maple syrup (other fruit selections over there >>>> )


Selection of cold cereals


French (eggy) toast, maple syrup, Golden syrup
Caribbean Banana Fritters


Toast (sourdough, rye, white, whole grain, 100% brown, Hovis, gluten free),
raisin bread,
hot cinnamon rolls,
Danish,


bacon & cheese quiche,
cheese and onion tarts,
broccoli and cheddar quiche,



Full English

Ulster Fry-up

The Railroader - 2 eggs any style, 2 buttermilk pancakes, 2 slices bacon, 1 slice of ham, toast

The Continental – choice of assorted chilled fruit juices, hot oatmeal or assorted cold cereals, toast or fresh-baked muffin

Florentine Feta Cheese Omelette garnished with Hollandaise sauce, and served with chef’s hash browns and toast

Boiled eggs and toast

Scrambled eggs, bacon, baked beans, and toast

Maille Croque Monsieur (French ….. basically ham, cheese and tomato sandwich on toasted bread, with Maille Mustard),

stirfry (chicken, or vegetarian),

Chicken Karage (Japanese deep fried chicken pieces)

Country Wrap (Black Forest Ham, Fresh Scallions and Cheddar Cheese),

Veggie Wrap (Fresh Tomatoes, Basil, Roasted Peppers and Feta Cheese)

Chicken wings (bbq, teriyaki, honey garlic)

Ham, cheese and tomato on toasted bread

Hummus served in a lettuce cup with warm pita bread, slices of cucumber and tomato


cheesy potato patties
home-fried potatoes with garlic and bacon


Potato, dill and cheddar soup


blueberry gingered lemon muffins,
cranberry & orange muffins,
raisin bran muffins,
pear ginger muffins


Cheese scones,
raisin scones


jams, jellies, marmalades, Nutella (hazelnut spread)


Tea, coffee, juices


(some extra bacon, turkey sausage or sausage patties, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, sliced baby golden beetroot, Maple baked beans, olive oil, in the hidey place to cook up for the very hungry ones!)

Oooh Dea - freshly baked rolls/bread yummy just in the mood for nibbles OH upstairs watching tv son and partner away washing dried and folded :-D

CU in 5mins will bring red white and rose wine with giant bar of cadburys and Galaxy and some flakes and fudge meanwhile here is a big hug to cheer you up (((((((((HUG)))))))) <3

rain, wind, cloud, quietened down overnight.

Now sun and clouds are fighting to see who will win



Major flooding problems all along the Fraser and Thompson Rivers ................ which a re very large rivers running through large areas of BC. Which means flood warnings, and evacuations, are everywhere.
