Its quiet on here tonight glad you had a nice meal its good to spoil yourself sometimes :-)

Im just heading to the land of nod night night :-)

we went out for dinner last night ...... to our special place. The one we can only afford to go to 2 or 3 times a year!


One of those times is usually at the end of May, after OH has finished the Grad Ceremonies work, but we didn't have time, until now.


Next visit will be our anniversary in August.


A bit of luxury is wonderful :-D




We had a wonderful meal, as always ............ I had duck breast, and OH had a beef tenderloin

OH had a dessert ................ home-made Rhubarb yoghurt, which he said was delicious. I opted not to have a dessert ...... but the owner then brought me half a sliced apple, very nicely presented, for me to nibble on. :-)

I know there is the one you have mentioned to me Gins but, to be honest, I was only thinking to myself the other day, how many HAD come back to their posts - maybe because I've given them a nudge or they have sussed things out for themselves. I'm certainly not sending out as many messages as I used to. I think there will always be the element who, unfortunately, don't return.


If you remember, the reason we are in contact is from several years ago when you were miffed about helpers who kept commenting on people who didn't return to their posts....hahahahahahahahahaha ouch......fell orf me chair!


Busy day today. Took my friend to see the flower festival which she really enjoyed but boy, pushing a wheelchair is hard work at my tender age.... :-S

Will have to get myself organised soon......I'm picking up my friend to take her to see our flower festival and, as there are also two weddings today, it may be slightly.......er.....manic! It will be a nightmare trying to park - may have to resort to my broomstick.... ;-)

Mushroom Quiche, Asparagus Quiche, Fritata.

Platters of various hams and cheeses

Fresh bread rolls and crackers,

Croissants and danish pastries.

Tea, Coffee and fruit juices,

Thank you for the good wishes.......just got in. Popped to church to catch someone and ended up staying for 2 hours helping with refreshments for the concert which was taking place...... :-S One way to spend your anniversary I spose..... :-D
