I guess I'm fortunate with my grandchildren now they are teenagers.....certainly not as hard work as when they were younger and I was younger with them!

Hi Sylvs. Yes he's comfy in the recliner but the loo is upstairs which is a trail for him at night. We can get help with certain things but Social Services in this area don't 'do' beds. I think the idea we thought of today is going to be the best option at the moment and, we will only have to buy one bed :-D

Nearly bedtime...........night all.....~~~

Dea
I know that feeling and we only have GD once a week whoever said "children keep you young" was fibbing :-)

I had to have a "cat nap" when she went!

oo'er

just heard on the traffic report on the radio

accident at xxxx Avenue, right on xxx Street. Expect delays on xxx Street.

That's just one block away from my house

I hadn't heard a thing

Had to go and find out, didn't I???

Nothing very exciting!!

2 cars had obviously met ...... but both were now parked on my street (the xxxx Avenue), and everyone was just standing around looking at them.

Several of the neighbours were also taking it all in.

Traffic on xxx Street was zooming down, as normal. It is one of the major routes south.

C

he is comfortable in his current recliner isn't he? Even when he sleeps in it.

That might be the clincher in getting the bed first, hoping that he will be able to get a good night's sleep in it.

Can you get any help in buying such essential items??

As much as I really love them both to bits - they can be SO tiring !!! - I think (NO - I KNOW) I am getting old !!! :-( :-( :-(

Finally got OH to do a "dump" run and get rid of some of the stuff we have cleared also did an Oxfam drop.

Just the garage and hut to do now :-(

Morning......not a lot 'good' about it though....the weather is miserable :-(

Thank you for breakfast Sylvs..... :-D

OH is now working himself up into a state of fretfulness over whether we get a bed or a recliner first. I think it's going to have to be the bed to be honest.

Son and daughter-in-law are celebrating their 16th wedding anniversary today.........cor.....seems like last year.... :-S
