hi all
xxx

lovely sun today, and just a shade cooler

This is the 8th consecutive day with sun and warm temperatures.

We do have a slight problem ................ it's quite hazy, due to smoke from forest fires in SIBERIA!

It's arriving here via the jet stream across the Pacific!

more sunny days at least through Sunday :-D

Not too bad actually thank you Linds !!

Very tired but not 'worn out' ;-)

They were not 'too' tired and we took them to the park after we picked grand-daughter up from school - took a picnic and they had a nice play :-)

They got very tired after that but then we could take them home so quite a nice day really!

Can't remember - how old is your grand-daughter now?

Dea
Hope your not too tired after having granchildren today we had GD today and took her to see OH's parents.

They were all smiles when she could say "great gran" and "grampa *****"
she is coming on and talking more and more all the time

Mind you we could regret that soon when we cant get her to be quiet! :-)

Dea

Dea Report 11 Jul 2012 20:00

You are a one to talk Jonesey! - You are hardly ever on here nowadays ;-) :-D :-D

Mind you, I think we are all a little guilty1

SO sad that Fred is feeling neglected!

Can you tuck me up on the sofa with breakfast please :-D

Can someone tell me when summer is arriving :-S :-S :-S

Dea

Dea Report 11 Jul 2012 08:03

Thanks for the tip Cynthia - I do that too if needed but grandson is a 'law unto himself' when he is tired - sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn't ;-)

It get worse when we go and collect grand-daughter after school and the two of them get together. When they are not tired they play beautifully together but if they are both tired at the same time we have to have one upstairs with one of us and one downstairs with the other - that's when we get 'worn out' :-D :-D

Anyway, off to get him in a couple of minutes so we will see......................

Good morning! :-D

Thank you Sylvs.......scrambled eggs with lots of ketchup sounds just the thing. :-D

Dea, when my grandchildren were younger and arrived here tired, I used to tuck them up either on the sofa or on my recliner with a cosy blanket, put children's tv on and give them breakfast on a tray. Then I left them alone and just pottered about. It was amazing how quickly they 'came round' after being calmed and fed...... :-D :-D

Another miserable day but I am still hoping to take my friend out to lunch. If it pours down, I will have to take lunch to her!!! :-S

See you later ~~~~

Dea

Dea Report 11 Jul 2012 07:06

Thank you Syls,

I will just have a little bacon buttie and I will take some of your lovely chicken karage for later, if I may :-) :-)

Then - off to get me ready ;-)

See you all later,
