Dea, I have left you summat on the dark side!



Think I may have sorted the sleeping prob re daughter. Googling away, I found a chair/bed which seems to be ideal. It's only for one night a week and a few days at Christmas. She seems happy with it so I've bought it online tonight because it was in a blue cross sale..... :-D :-D

OH saw the consultant this morning



he's having a cataract op on his left eye on October 12.


Then he goes to China in November

we go on our train trip in December


so they will see him some time in January to see about the other eye.

Thought I had a free day from the grandchildren today but I had a 'visitation' after school so they could sing their birthday greetings to me and give me their cards and prezzies - loads of chocolates, flowers and kisses!!! SO it was worth it ;-) :-D :-D

It put me behind with cooking my beef stew though so it is only just about ready !

Sylvs has already commented about a rotary dryer and anyway, it would have to be a very strong man to carry her bloomers away!! ;-D



Not sure if firms take away unwanted beds to be honest Gins. Our son thinks he may know someone who wants it, otherwise I'll have to ring a charity shop or the council I suppose.

Thats a shame I have two long washing lines (I can get two lots of bedding plus another wash out at once)

Only problem here is getting a dry day to put the washing out :-)

Well, we've bin and gorn and bort one! An adjustable bed for OH. Have now got to sort out about getting rid of the spare bed and all the stuff in it's drawers.......... :-(
