We went to the Black Country Living Museum - grand-daughter likes it there, though there were a lot of school children's trips there today so she got all quiet and shy!! - She enjoyed it though but didn't join in as much as she would normally if it wasn't so busy!

SO sorry Cynths - I didn't know that you had put some bacon under the grill for me - It was a good job that Ivy arrived to save your lovely kitchen !!!

Have 2 more early mornings this week then I have a day off on Friday !!!

Went out this morning back to the mobility show and OH has, at last, chose which recliner is best for him. We will be living on baked beans on toast for the foreseeable future :-(

Yikes! So it was the burning bacon that woke me up!

I've turned off the smoke alarm, doused the pan (not sure that it will ever be same again Cynthia, sorry), put the charred remains in the bin, opened the windows wide (hope you don't have opportunistic burglars near you), grabbed one of your crumpets and one of Dea's Danish pastries and fled the scene....

That will teach me not to sleep thru' my alarm....

I had a nice afternoon with my friend from the hospital.......we chatted quite a lot!

Then I went off ferreting around in a friend's tree for a while. I think I lost tract of time and I nearly had to get some nice firemen to bring me down out of the branches..... :-D :-D


It's been a long day so I will say goodnight and hope that someone is around to keep an eye on Fred to keep him from wandering off again ;-)

Anybody own this?

I found it wandering about looking lost and lonely on page three.
