If only GR would monitor each day and respond accordingly, a lot of hassle would be avoided.

Looks like I am first down - that Dea must be having another lie in :-D


Okay - just a quick breakfast from me.

Gins - I don't like mayo, I prefer salad creme.


Bacon - sizzling gently.

Porridge - bubbling slowly.

Eggs - frying noisily.

Cold cereals - snapping, crackling and popping.

Toast - browning nicely.

Yogurts - dripping messily.

Tomatoes - grilling splutteringly.

Kettle - boiling loudly.

Croissants - flaking greasily.

Grapefruit - swimming juicily.

Jonesey's ciggie - smelling nastily ;-)

it was cloudy this morning, but the sun burnt trhough very quickly, and we've had a lovely day ....... temperature just about right at around 21/22C

They are saying it could get as high as 29C this weekend :-0

I chop my hard boiled eggs with salad cream. It disguises the taste of the egg!

Mashed in a cup with butter ..what?

'et' a friend.......lol.....love it.........my friend would make a fair few meals I can tell you!! :-D


You need to keep your certs in a way that suits you Linds. I don't think there is a correct way of filing documents away.

I have a file for each family......Jones....Smith.....Brown etc. all the paperwork goes into the plastic wallets inside the file. I put the name on the outside so that I can see the names at a glance.

I suppose it also depends how much storage space you have.

Does anyone have any tips on how to file all my BMD certificates?

Iv'e gone out and bought ring binders to put them in but do I keep one binder for each grandparent or any ideas?

Haven't had a dippy egg since I don't know when. Don't eat a lot of eggs to be honest. Will have to remedy that soon maybe.


I sound like you Linds......all disorganised when I first started my research. I think I am gradually getting it back into some sort of order though.


Never stopped all day! Cleaned the bedrooms - et a friend for lunch - then picked up daughter - took her for coffee - came home and made tea - son calls in - wash up.

Hopefully, a nice sit down for a while..... :-D

Have started looking at my FT paperwork after a year and its a mess. my own fault cos I was new to it and so excited at "finding the next one in line" I didn't take the time to organise anything :-(

had just bought FTM and started to record findings when OH took ill and the tree was abandoned. Now I have lost my train of thought and dont know where to start.

Oh well back to the begining me thinks that's if I ever work out how to use FTM :-0

I called in about an hour ago but all was quiet so I went off and had my bath and got myself all ready for grandchildren - I thought I was going to have to cook my own breakfast today :-(
