Yes it was Dea but he said they might stay, not had a chance to talk to him yet as I made him strip off in the hall, chucked his stuff in the washer and sent him up to have a shower!

He's starving, got a headache and is £250 lighter for experience plus his car needs a valet as it is covered in mud inside and out :-0

He took a long time coming home Ginns !!! - Wasn't it cancelled yesterday ?? !!! ;-)

Son just got back from Creamfields, looks like he's brought half the mud back with him!

I think it was ust the computer I was using at work Gins.

That's amazing Jonesey and what is even more amazing is that , as many people live to around 100 years of age, even a very few, slightly older, it is not impossible for someone in your same situation to still have a parent living.

That parent would then have actually met and maybe even remember all those generational links ! ;-) :-0 (If you see what I mean) :-S

Thanks for breakfast Dea, wonder where Sylvs is?

Oh how the generations roll round fast.

Yesterday evening my family including my great granddaughter were all visiting us. On the television Clare Balding was presenting a piece on Lichfield cathedral.

My maternal great grandfather was a man called Henry Evans who was a steeplejack born in Lichfield. Whilst I was a child my grandmother had told me that he was one of the team that had placed the gold coloured balls on top of the cathedral's 3 spires.

I recounted the story to the family members and then thought to myself that I was talking about the man who was the great great great great grandfather of the youngest person present. Seven generations apart yet only 91 years between the death of one and the birth of the other.

Well, I don't think Sylvia is coming, so..................

In the warmers:
Bacon, eggs, sausages, kedgeree, hash browns, grilled tomatoes + mushrooms, baked beans.

Mushroom Quiche, Parmesan & Asparagus Quiche

Fresh Croissants and danish pastries.

Toast, crumpets + a selection of sweet or savoury spreads

Tea, Coffee and fruit juices,

Not been on for a few days did you miss me? It's been a busy few days for some reason and had GD yesterday afternoon she was climbing on top of the back of the sofa and saying "wibble wobble" and sliding down! (she loves jelly and says "wibble wobble wibble wobble jelly on a plate every time you give her one)

Dea glad your tooth is ok I got my crown glued in again must stop eating toffees :-
