Rain. rain and more rain was forecast for here too Cynths but it didn't happen - hubby went out to play golf at 1pm expecting to be back early but he hasn't returned yet !! :-D

It's probably because you said you didn't miss her Gins.............tuts.

I love the generational thing. I have a friend who is now 68 and whose father was born in c1895! He was almost 50 when she was born and she said it was really embarrassing at times when other school friends were talking about fathers who had been in the 2nd World War, HERS had been in the 1st!!!

What rotten Bank Holiday weather we have had....rain,rain,rain. My decorator managed to get the undercoat on the windowsills and is, hopefully, going to gloss them tomorrow. :-D

We went to a fun day but it was more or less rained off so came home, had lunch and I did some ironing whilst watching Wallace and Gromit at the Proms. It was really very good and most enjoyable. :-D

See you later...~~~

Linds - I am thinking back to wedding photo's now - I think I have mentioned this before (BUT - on this thread - I didn't start a duplicate :-D :-D :-D ;-))

My wedding photo's show two distinct levels and it is quite clear which family is which !

I am almost 5ft 1" and by far the tallest in my family !

My husband is (was) 6 ft 4" (he has shrunk a bit over the years) - all his family, including the females were WAY over 6 ft tall !

It makes for an interesting photo

Happy days ! :-D

Grandchildren are back to school and nursery this week - it will be quieter here :-D :-( :-( :-S

Son is still unemployed so we won't be needed quite so much !

I wish he could get a job but DIL has gone full time to bring some money in and I don't see him getting a job any time in the near future.

What is the world coming to ???

'Grandpa' (on the other side) is still out of action but starting to improve after more stays in hospital

I WISH I could win the lottery and make them all rich so none of them had to worry - I don't do it though so there is no chance of that !!;-)
