My loo is so not fixed

After spending about 2 hours messing about, he's left me with no flush at all

Spare part needs ordering, why he couldnt just put the buddy thing back to as it was before he came :-|

Well. The morning meet was cancelled and I phoned Walton and changed the appointment. No problem. :-D


It's still snowing here intermittently.... :-(

Cynthia shame you will miss your appointments but better safe than sorry.

Just cleared the car and drive but dont think I'll be taking it out today

Bin men didnt turn up, which, if you have a weekly collection isnt a problem....but ours are two weekly :-|

It's a shame that you can't get to those meetings Cynthia but you are wise not to take the chance.

Good morning all - though what is 'good' about it I don't know.

I am supposed to be at one hospital this morning re autism and another (in Liverpool) re Parkinson's. Can't do either because of the (unmentionable) snow.

I can't risk going off this morning and getting stuck somewhere and leaving OH on his own at home, nor can I chance driving to Liverpool and getting stuck with him in the car - so am ever so slightly cheesed off. :-|


Oh well.....these things happen and, to cheer myself up, I will avail myself of a Full English this morning please Sylvs. It will help to lessen the gloom. Thank you for breakfast, especially when you have such a poorly tootsie. <3


I live on a main road and there is certainly traffic about but not as much as usual yet.

I was watching the cars as they passed and was shocked to see how many drivers have only cleared their windscreen - leaving their side and back windows totally obliterated by snow! :-0 So stupid.


Also, I thought it was illegal not to clear the snow from the top of the car in case it slides down and obscures the driver's vision????


It was also interesting to note that only a tiny fraction of the cars were totally clear of the stuff, which indicates how many people do not use a garage. Like us, the garages are probably full of indispensable junk!! :-D :-D :-D

I did that and the two 'prods' fell apart! Got them back together now, the loo will flush, but the inlet pipe is broken and still hissing :-(

Jimmy will pop round tomorrow, I think it needs re soldering

Gins the band are in the studio 3 nights a week Thursday, Friday and Sunday. They are recording their new album which M says is better than the last one.
