Hi all

Gins ................... as someone who used to work with bacteria .................... anti-bacterial wipes do sweet fanny adam to keep your work surface, OR your hands, germ-free.

All they do is wipe bacteria over the counter from place to place ................ and encourage the development of resistant germs.

Best thing to do is wipe your counters down with a cloth and hot soapy water, then rinse with another cloth and clean hot water.

I actually use paper towels, as they are more sanitary than cloths.

I don't have any anti-bacterial solutions in my house, I won't have.

Gee

Gee Report 23 Jan 2013 20:40

Forgiven ;-)

Food Inspectors

Do people not know how to disinfect their work surfaces :-0 You need to wipe down (with anit bacterial) at least once (I do it all the time) a day and stick your 'wiper' in the dishwasher at 60 degrees

Sigh.........

:-(

It looks absolutely beautiful Jonesey - I am sure she will a wonderful time !!

As I said, the resorts are excellent but when you get outside of them it is a different story !

I have been to many places where you are expected to haggle etc, and it can be quite fun but usually when you have had enough, you move away and that is the end of that !

There, however, you would be pursued out of shops and followed down the streets while they hurl abuse at you in a very aggressive manner! - This, I do not like !

Again, the resorts are lovely and clean but if you go off on a trip, or to cafes etc. outside, they are appalling.

Anyway, there is some beautiful scenery and the weather should be good so I am sure she will manage to have a good rest and enjoy herself.

Good morning all :-D

Thank you for breakfast Sylvs and I hope the physio goes well <3

LK? Make sure you put the handbrake on!! :-D

Gins - I actually told the decorator that I didn't mind if he dropped a paint pot on the carpet as I am longing for a new one downstairs!

We 'inherited' the one we have now as it hadn't been down very long and it's an extremely good quality carpet. I just think it is too patterned for the size of the house and would love a plainer one. OH does not share my thinking :-(

Today, I hope to wash my kitchen walls because he did some painting out there too :-D :-D
