Good morning all and what lovely news to start the day Sylvs. Congratulations to the new little family...... <3


Thank you for breakast - toast and Marmite please. I am recovering from a cold which was kindly donated to me by daughter and have catarrh. I vaguely remember an old wives tale which said something about not having too much milk when you have a cold. It seems to be working :-D


I overslept this morning :-0 I decided to turn the heating down in the bedroom and I seem to sleep all the better for it. I remember when bedrooms used to be like fridges and we considered it normal........ ;-)

Sauteed or grilled mushrooms on toast, with bacon if desired


bacon, ham, tomatoes, etc in the fridge. Help yoruself


Toast (selection of breads), barm cakes, croissants

I wouldn't mind Gins but the shirt wasn't cheap and nasty - it was from M & S - their new range I think and I had ordered it specially.........sheeeesh. Men. Never mind.......if our son doesn't want it, it can go to the charity shop. Wish I could use ebay - I could sell it.......I spose.


Bedtime here - I washed the quilt covers today because the weather was suitable to hang them out. The beds look like showroom beds.......but not for long!!

An ex of mine once bought me the most ugly jumper you can imagine

It was red, thick woven nylon with a crew neck. It had a HUGE cats face on the front, woven out of some nasty shiny thread :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0

It was sensible to tell the doc about your foot and it's good to know that you are doing the right thing. :-D



I realised yesterday that OH hadn't worn the shirt I bought him for Christmas so I mentioned it to him.

He duly wore it this morning but his expression was not happy. It seems he doesn't like it :-(

I told him to take it off and put another one on .........sigh.......and I thought I knew what he liked :-S :-S

I woke up in the night thinking JB was was rummaging through some papers and plastic! It was the rain hitting the windows!

Ive never heard rain that hard, I thought the roof was going to come down :-0
