I've been out since 5.15 visiting my son who is 40 tomorrow..........then we went for a meal out to save cooking :-D :-D :-D


My son and his wife and another couple have had a lovely weekend in the Yorkshire Dales. Lots of teasing....and a great deal of fun. So pleased for him.

Its very windy here too. OPened the blinds and the front garden is full of paper, it was recycle collection this morning, seems they left most of it on the street

Toast and Marmite for me please. My daughter is a Marmite addict and I bought her a few of their gifts for Christmas. They brought out a 'Gold' version - it has little edible gold bits in it. Different!

We went out last night for my belated birthday dinner, that was postponed 'cos I had that terrible cold.


We had a great time!

Canada won the Davies Cup:-D :-D :-D


They beat Spain 3 games to 1 ............


....... lost the doubles yesterday, but won the singles match this morning, and didn't even have to play the other singles game, set fr this afternoon.


They're now into the quarter-finals for the first time ever ................. they play Italy in April


AND


I've just googled ........... Canada hosts Italy in the Davis Cup quarter-finals in April


That's a HUGE advantage.


The host country gets to determine where the game will be held, AND the playing surface


................ every country tries to provide the playing surface that is best suited to their own players, and least suited to the opponent :-D
